Grandi Cru della Costa Toscana

I Grandi Cru della Costa Toscana nascono in una parte di terra compresa tra cinque province: Massa, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, Grosseto ed in particolare in un’area che subisce l’influenza del Mar Tirreno.

E’ infatti il mare con i suoi venti ed i suoi profumi a rendere questa area qualcosa di assolutamente unico, perché se il comune denominatore di questi vini è l’influenza della costa che ne forma il carattere, dall’altra ogni zona di produzione possiede una sua originale caratteristica.

Quello che ha spinto circa 80 produttori della Costa Toscana a definire con chiarezza la loro identità, è la consapevolezza di essere a tutti gli effetti diversi ma uguali, di far parte si di un terroir eterogeneo ma allo stesso tempo di voler fortemente diffondere l’idea di una coscienza unica, sia per intenti sia per obiettivi.

Dare valore per queste aziende significa crescere all’interno di un vero e proprio sistema di eccellenza, rappresentato dai vini, dal paesaggio, dall’arte e da chi assume un ruolo determinante per la diffusione dei nostri valori.
Tra di noi ci sono nomi eccellenti che non hanno bisogno di presentazione, nomi che hanno fatto la storia dei cru di Toscana e che sono stati capaci di superare la tradizione di questa regione, allargandone le prospettive.

Insieme ai grandi ci sono però molte altre realtà piccole ma assolutamente importanti e destinate ad un grande futuro, con le loro storie personali da raccontare e da far conoscere.

Grandi e piccoli hanno pensato che la terra a cui appartenevano aveva bisogno di una voce comune capace di saper spiegare cosa ci fosse dietro ognuno di loro: un microclima, un vitigno antico, una caratteristica del terreno ma anche una storia famigliare, un percorso produttivo, una ricerca o una riscoperta.
